フィールドレコーディング・ワークショップにご参加いただき、ありがとうございました！イベント無事終了いたしました。
ワークショップの冒頭は、講師のmetomeさん @lmetomel と髙山さん @spdmtr @asanoya_books による講義からスタート。metomeさんによるフィールドレコーディングやアンビエントに関するお話に、髙山さんが合間に説明を加えながら、和やかな雰囲気で進行しました。
実際の音源例を聴きながらの解説だったので、よりわかりやすい内容でした。
その後は、みんなでフィールドレコーディングへ。
自由に土師ノ里を散策しながら録音する人、本格的な録音機材を持参して参加してくれた人、講師と一緒に街を歩きながら録音する人など、それぞれのスタイルで音を収集しました。
古墳の上に登ったり、川へ行ったり、自動販売機の音や床屋のサインポールの機械音、カフェの音など、身の回りのさまざまな音を録音。何気ない音の中にも、新たな発見があったのではないでしょうか。
最後に、事前に配布した講師お手製の音源をベースに、それぞれ自由に音を編集。思い思いのアプローチで音を組み合わせ、オリジナルの作品を制作しました。
朝10時から夕方まで、がっつり取り組んだワークショップにご参加いただき、本当にありがとうございました！
みなさんには音源を持ち帰っていただき、各自編集作業を進めてもらっています。完成した作品は、希望者のみレコードにカッティング予定です。

Finally, each participant freely edited sounds based on the handmade sound source distributed beforehand. They combined sounds in their own way to create their own original works.

We asked everyone to take the sound files home and edit them individually. The completed works will be cut into vinyl records for those who wish to have them.

「フィールドレコーディング。野外録音。こう聞くと、野山の美しい自然の中で小川のせせらぎや小鳥のさえずりをキレイな音で録音する、というイメージがありますが、わが土師ノ里近郊にそんな場所はありません。
しかし、郊外には郊外ならではの、ドブ川にドババと流れ出す工場排水の音、コンビニの入店音、吠え続ける犬、急行の通過音や、路上でひとり喋り続けるおじいさんの独白、風で揺れるブランコの音、扉越しに漏れる昼カラオケの歌声、産廃業者の重厚な金属音など、たくさんの美しい音があふれています。
実際にマイクを向けてみると、閑静な場所でも実はさまざまな音だらけだと実感していただけると思います。」
